At a time of great uncertainty for many industries, Mastering SAP Australia is on a mission to unlock and realize the potential of technology for the betterment of people, businesses, and the world. For the first time, they are bringing the thriving Mastering SAP community together online – 1000+ people, 3 days, 90 hours of brilliant content, and a plethora of unrivaled networking opportunities – to celebrate the talent, innovation, and ideas transforming the way we work.

The digital event will run from the 12th of October to the 14th of October. The event will be for 4 hours each day. The event will allow for novel content delivery designed for engagement broken up into 25min, 15min, and 10min sessions.

MasteringSAP OnAir has created the opportunity to form amazing connections due to the fact the platform allows for matchmaking recommendations based on common interests. The platform will create private and secure areas where 1.2.1 or group networking will be available via video meetings. There is also the opportunity for invite-only discussion groups around specific SAP topics.

Attendees can engage in dialogue and networking via the platform. There is no need to worry about the different timezone. All the content will be available on-demand for twelve months after the conference. There’ll also be additional content, white papers, valuable templates, screenshots, and demos.

Mastering SAP RSA is home to three independent conferences: HR & Payroll, Finance & Technologies. Your ticket to Mastering SAP is a ticket to three amazing days of content, networking and knowledge-sharing online. Bringing together SAP customers, partners and thought-leaders to celebrate the talent, technology, innovations and ideas that are literally transforming the way we work.

Join our CEO, Dudley Cartwright as he discusses the topic of Data Privacy and how one is able to manage this in SAP. Data Privacy regulations (POPI, GDPR etc) are having an impact on almost every organisation around the world. Privacy by design is now expected as part and parcel of your security framework. As owners of the data subjects (Customers, Vendors, Business Partners, Employees), it is critical that you understand what data is deemed sensitive, for what purposes it is being used, how it should be controlled and who should have access to it. Anything less, unfortunately, carries the risk of severe penalties and fines.

In this session, Dudley will share some of his experience of the activities and tasks typically associated with a data privacy project – where to begin, key stakeholders, objectives and deliverables, and how this can be fast-tracked using Soterion’s Data Discovery module.

Key takeaways:

  • Understand the activities and tasks associated with a data privacy project
  • How to easily identify whether your SAP system is storing personal data
  • How to manage any sensitive personal data going forward – data privacy by design

In our second session, Emile Steyn, a Senior SAP Security Consultant at Soterion, will be speaking and sharing the key steps to implementing effective GRC. Effective GRC is measured by how well business users carry out their access risk management activities. In this session we will discuss how Oceana achieved SAP Security utopia by understanding the importance and interrelationship between the various components of effective GRC, namely the SAP role design, rule set and the access control solution.

We look forward to connecting with everyone virtually.
