VNSG Security Event – 9 November 2023

Soterion will once again be exhibiting at VNSG’s Theme Day Security & Controls on 9 November in Baarn, Utrecht in The Netherlands.   

The VNSG Focus Group Security & Access Management (SAM) organises the VNSG Theme Day Security & Controls to provide a platform for users to talk about the most recent trends and developments in the field of SAP security. This event is also the perfect opportunity for networking. If you are attending, or are in the area, come and visit us.   

The event attracts SAP security specialists, who are keen to remain abreast of recent developments in the field of SAP Security. There will be numerous sessions where delegates are able to learn from other organisations, and find out how they manage their SAP security.  

We are privileged to have Thijs van Haaren, Tech Lead, SAP Security, IT Security at Orkla IT present on Orkla’s SAP security journey with Soterion. Come and visit us at our stand and join our presentation.

Topic: Improving the Efficiency of SAP Security Activities  

Presented by: Thijs van Haaren, Tech Lead, SAP Security, IT Security, Orkla IT 

With a variety of SAP Security activities that need to be done. Is it essential that these are done in a correct but also efficient manner. Organisations are constantly improving guidelines and procedures. An application like Soterion helps Orkla do this by automating the FireFighter (Emergency Access Management) process and supporting the user access workflow.  

This session focuses on how Orkla has improved several SAP Security processes using Soterion.

The association supports users in increasing the added value of SAP software in their organisation. The community includes 9000 SAP professionals who work at approximately 700 different companies in the Netherlands.
